Safe Displacements Device for All Conditions Blind People

One of the challenges faced by blind to achieve optimum mobility is obstacles detection and avoidance. The traditional aid white cane, but nowadays, there are also electronic travel aids. However, none them widely used. eBAT (electronic Buzzer for Autonomous Travel) has been designed provide protection easy usage, interacting with a user’s mobile phone. To improve its performance, usage test was carried out 25 totally users divided sex, age range autonomy in mobility. main results that gives reduction involuntary contacts decreases walking speed. There differences between groups limited statistical significance, some correlations variables.
